Can airflow and temperature affect the diffuser and fragrance
Yes it can. Different temperatures can affect how we smell fragrances and can decrease or increase the intensity of the fragrance. Higher air flows eg ducted heating, fans, air conditioners, windows open can affect the intensity of how you smell the fragrance .
Why can't I smell my diffuser anymore
If you can’t smell your diffuser or perfume or other scenting products anymore, there’s a real scientific explanation for it—Olfactory fatigue. As our brains are exposed to a scent for an extended period, they tend to ignore the familiar smell to avoid sensory overload.
To maintain a wonderfully fragrant home and continue enjoying your favorite perfume or cologne, try alternating fragrances. One of the best ways to keep a pleasant scent in your home that you can continuously smell is to change your fragrances every month.
Other causes are higher air flow rooms/areas, temperature. Check your fragrance pod in case it needs replacing.
